By creating an account or using BillRiders ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BillRiders provides AI-powered analysis of U.S. legislative bills. Analyses are for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or political advice. Always consult a qualified professional for legal matters.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits is prohibited.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate or distribute misinformation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI analysis system
  • Use automated scripts or bots to exceed your plan's analysis limits
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

The BillRiders platform, design, and software are owned by BillRiders. Bill texts are U.S. government works in the public domain. AI-generated analyses are provided for your personal use and may not be resold or redistributed commercially without written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any analysis. AI models can make mistakes โ€” always verify important information from primary sources.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillRiders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at billridersapp@gmail.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable jurisdiction.
