A rider is a provision attached to a bill that has little or nothing to do with the bill's stated purpose. Lawmakers use riders to sneak unrelated policies or spending past public scrutiny. BillRiders flags them automatically.

Every analyzed bill gets a 0–100 score measuring how honestly the bill's title reflects what's actually inside it. A score of 90+ means the title is accurate. Below 50 means the title is misleading or incomplete.

You can paste bill text directly, or let BillRiders fetch it automatically from Congress.gov using a bill number (e.g. H.R. 1234). We support House bills, Senate bills, resolutions, and joint resolutions.

BillRiders uses Claude by Anthropic — one of the most capable AI models available. Analyses are accurate summaries of what the bill text actually says. However, this is educational analysis, not legal advice. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal decisions.

Most bills analyze in 15–45 seconds. Very large omnibus bills (millions of characters) may take up to 2 minutes.

No. Once a bill is analyzed, the result is cached permanently. Every user who analyzes that same bill gets the cached result instantly — it counts against your monthly limit but costs nothing extra.
